A free app for the 80-hour rule. Coming to iPhone and Android in November 2026.
From January 1, 2027, most adults on Medicaid must show 80 hours a month of work, school, training or volunteering — or prove they are exempt. SNAP has required the same 80 hours since November 2025.
History says most people who lose coverage under rules like these were still eligible. They lose it to paperwork, not to work.
The app is free, and there is a printable flyer and poster for your waiting room. If your clients are asking what to do about the 80-hour rule, write to partners@workedmy80.com and we will send the kit.
Georgia has run its version since 2023. Nebraska started May 1, 2026, Montana July 1, 2026, and Arkansas began sending notices July 1, 2026 without cutting anyone off before January. Iowa starts December 1, 2026. Illinois began notifying people on September 1, 2026.
Every rule in the app carries a link to the state's own page and the date we last checked it.
